Firstly, thank you so much for visiting my page! If you know me you'll know that my commitment to running is somewhat on and off, so I thought it was about time I properly challenged myself. 

I'm running for Women's Aid because I feel passionately about the work they do in striving to create a society where women and girls are safe from domestic and sexual violence. 

In the U.K 1.7 million women experience domestic abuse every year, and with three women being killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, so much needs to change before women are safe.

In Australia, one in two women have experienced being sexual harassed, and women are almost three times more likely than men to have experienced violence inflicted by a partner since the age of fifteen.
