Story

On Sunday 29th July, we will be taking part in the 100 mile Ride London Sportive, starting at the Olympic Park in Stratford and following the London 2012 road race course (including a couple of challenging hills) before finishing on The Mall. It's the London Marathon of cycling!

Who would have thought 6 years ago when we met at an NCT class that we'd be embarking on a challenge like this together?! Neither of us being "cyclists" back then either! But we've loved the excuse it's given us to escape on Sunday mornings for training rides, exploring the Cheshire lanes and more recently venturing up into the hills behind Bollington. Our longest training ride will be 68 miles so the 100 feels like a real challenge right now and we'd massively appreciate your support to help us on our way.

Bringing up our young families in the Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme area we've seen first hand the impact Millies Trust has had on the levels of Pediatric First Aid training in nurseries, pre-schools, schools and holiday clubs. The money we raise from our ride will help Millies trust to continue to roll out much needed Pediatric first aid training across more and more organisations and saving lives as they do.

Thank you so much for your support

Jennie & Hazel x
