This is the second part of my fundraiser for Colostomy UK. The first part included a cake sale and I am super thankful for all of the donations made so far, I will update the total amount once the walk is complete!

This is a cause that is extremely close to my heart, there is nowhere near enough awareness of hidden conditions in both children and adults, and they are certainly not understood or accepted as well as they should be. Having a colostomy/stoma is difficult enough without the judgement that comes along with it. The information and advice that Colostomy UK offer is amazing and without it, the life of my family and I’m sure thousands of others, would have been much more difficult.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people with stomas and to their families, carers and friends. Colostomy UK also campaigns and acts as advocates for ostomates on the many issues they face going about their daily lives. We want hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all. Our vision is of communities in which everyone is empowered to reach their potential.
