Give Us 10!
Campaign by Sepsis Research FEAT (RCN SC049399)
Sepsis Research FEAT is 10 years old! A decade on from the charity's founding, the funding of sepsis research and awareness work is more important than ever - to help prevent some of the 50,000 or so UK lives lost to sepsis every year

Story

I am taking part in the Edinburgh Kilt Walk, Big Stroll this September with a team of fellow supporters of the charity. This is a 14.7 mile walk from Fisherrow Links (Musselburgh) to Murrayfield Stadium.

Since working for the charity I have been shocked by the devastating impact of sepsis across the world, and how many lives it takes - 5 adults in the UK every day.

Despite its seriousness, many people are still unaware of sepsis and its symptoms, so I want to help raise awareness.

I also want to raise money to fund the vital research which we hope will save lives worldwide and lead to better treatment and outcomes for sepsis patients.

Charity Information:

Sepsis Research FEAT funds vital research into sepsis and helps to raise awareness of sepsis. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by the body overreacting to infection. It kills around 50,000 people in the UK each year. Please support us today & help us in our mission to #stopsepsisnow.
