Story
On the 25th September 2009 my Granda Alan Hughes passed away in Hartlepool Hospice. I will never ever be able to find the words to explain the indescribable loss and emotions that I felt that day. Words that I have no difficulty finding however; are words to describe the hospice and the thoroughly awe inspiring people who work and devote their time to making the most difficult time in a person's and their family's life that little bit more dignified. My Granda never got the chance to fight his disease, it robbed the most thoughful, fun loving and cheeky family man of his life and his family of the person that they all looked up to and adored. My family and I will never forget or stop appreciating how these amazing people at the hospice made my Granda's final days as comfortable as possible. Absolutely any amount that you can donate will be hugely appreciated, I cannot express how much of a loss many people would feel without the help and support of Hartlepool Hospice, please dig deep they more than deserve it!!!!! xxxx
