Once again, Dan and I are choosing to forego a perfectly good public transport network and cycle the 51 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh in the 2011 Pedal for Scotland Challenge Ride. 

 

We haven't totally taken leave of our senses - it's all for a very good cause!  We're raising money for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.  This great charity provides centres where anyone affected by cancer can turn to for help. People can go there if they've been recently diagnosed or have been living with cancer for decades.  The centres are also open to friends or family members supporting those with cancer.  With one in three people facing a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, this charity is one which really helps a huge number of people.

 

So go on!  Giz some cash!  We really appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small.  Every pound will help us through each mile...!
