The Sparkle Foundation Malawi is a grassroots charity based in Zomba, Malawi aiming to create brighter futures for vulnerable children within the surrounding communities. Reaching up to 14,000 people, we create sustainable change through the provision of education, nutrition and medical care.
We are walking this March because following cyclone Ana which wiped out several of our children’s homes, we need to do what we can to support our families.
For those in the UK seeing the weather forecast tonight, you can only imagine how you would feel if you saw that and lived in a house made of mud bricks with a straw roof. That’s what our families faced several weeks ago which has left over 3,000,000 people displaced across the country.
