10 years ago this October my husband, Andrew, was rushed into hospital unconscious. This turned out to be a burst AVM 
arteriovenous malformation of the left frontal temporal lobe of the brain, the effects of which were a stroke. After a number of scary procedures to his brain he is lucky, and hopefully cured and left with very little long term affects . Suddenly after 10 years we have been hit by the enormity of what we went through, therefore I am doing this challenge to raise awareness and money for one of the few AVM charities that support research into AVMs.
