Sooooo..... I'm running a 10k race for life on 01/06/14. As many of you are aware, my family have been very affected by cancer throughout the years, and another close family member has recently been diagnosed with cancer. I'm running with my friend Claire McGlynn whose mum is currently fighting cancer. Please, please donate. If only to laugh at my non running abilities. And if you were in any doubt, I've just got back from holiday pretty much a stone heavier and am at my absolute unfittest (yes, that is a word)

I know I ran a half marathon on mum's 60th and this must seem like a doddle in comparison, but it isn't I promise. I vowed never to run again after that, and trust me, I KEPT TO MY WORD!
