I'm taking part in Cavendish Cancer Care's Festive 5x5k Challenge this year to raise essential funds to help Cavendish provide therapies and support for individuals who have been affected by cancer.The centre is reliant upon donations, with very little funding from the NHS to deliver these vital services. 

I will be swimming my 5 x5k which equates to 25,000metres , divided by my pool of 25 metres is 1000 lengths (thank goodness for GCSE maths!). 

So if I can do a length per minute this is around 22 X 45 minutes sessions x. Phew, that was like an exam question!  Lol.

Commencing at Hathersage outdoor freezing swimming pool today! (Knocked off 773 metres).
