Little Foxs was set up by a group of friends in 2000 in memory of their friend Ray Fox, who died from prostate cancer. It’s aim is to raise money for Barnsley people with a diagnosis of cancer. It contributes to the everyday costs of living with cancer, but also shopping vouchers and small holidays

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So this year we are hosting a charity event called winter fun-derland as this year marks the 10 year anniversary since me and my friends lost our best friend Stacy to cancer. She was only 26 years old. The little fox’s is a charity close to our hearts as it helped us create memories with Stacy in her last few days. It is a small charity that relies solely on donations in order to carry out the invaluable work it does. It considers requests from anyone. Cancer not only impacts on a persons health but it can also impact on a person financially and emotionally. The little fox’s aims to alleviate these pressures on people. The help can be in the form of anything from help with household bills, appliances, transport to visit loved ones with cancer, special days out to create memories with family and friends, wigs and other therapies that may help the patient with their treatment. It has also helped a woman whose husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer at Christmas who couldn’t work buy her children Christmas presents. This page is set up for people who may not be able to attend the event but would still like to donate. Half of the proceeds raised on the night will also be going to jaxon’s gift who provide support to families who have had to deal with the death of a child and stillborn babies. Thanks for taking the time to read this page and for donating xx
