Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in this event to raise money for Macmillan.  My Dad was taken from us after his year long battle with a brain tumour In December 2013.  During his illness he received the care and expertise from The Macmillan Unit in Christchurch, a place where he felt safe and was able to be independent.  They looked after him, and in turn looked after us as a family. 

  Dad loved cycling and he always took the time to raise money for charity.  I just hope we can do him proud by raising our target amount so that Macmillan can go on supporting other families in the same way they supported us. The day of the event would have been his 65th birthday, so this is my gift to you Dad. Help me by digging deep and donating what you can in memory of dad and to help so many people affected by cancer. 

I am lucky enough to have 4 good friends willing to join me on the bike ride- please visit our team page and together we can increase the amount raised.
