On September 9th I will be attempting to run my first half marathon to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance. This charity work endlessly around the Lake District, providing necessary aid and life saving support to many of the visitors and locals alike. In 2010, a bus crash at my school took the lives of two children and would have taken multiple others if the GNAA hadn't provided fast, effective care to those who needed it. One of my best friends almost lost her mum in a bicycle crash but with the brilliant service of the GNAA staff she recovered fully. They are a wonderful charity and I am proud to be supporting them.
