The cancellation of fundraising events such as marathons, cycles, and walks for 2020 means that charity organisations such as Albion InThe Community (AITC) are facing a substantial loss in fundraised income this year. 

I am taking on the Albion Challenge 2020 to raise money to support Albion in the Community to continue to be there for the Sussex Community.  

I will be virtually running the distance from the American Express Community Stadium to Selhurst Park , home to Crystal Palace FC,  a total of 42miles ( 68 km). The intention is to complete this mileage during the month of November at a rate of aproximately 20km per week, around the streets of Brighton and Hove.  And all money raised will go directly to Albion in the Community. 

I will be running in memory of my son Alex Payne who was tragically killed almost exactly 5 years ago.

Any support will be gratefully received and will make a huge difference to vulnerable people in Sussex. £5 - could help to cover the costs of regular wellbeing visits to vulnerable people in the community.  £10 - could cover the costs of a football themed learning pack - helping young people to build literacy and maths skills at home.£22 - could pay for a specialist football to help keep a young person with a visual impairment active.
