Birch Network is a grassroots charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers across Birmingham and the West Midlands. I am currently volunteering with them, teaching English to newly-arrived refugees, and have seen the big impact they have on the people they come alongside. I want to help them raise funds to continue this vital work. 

Birch Network wants the UK to be a place of welcome and support for refugees and asylum seekers and to offer them sanctuary.The hostile environment and recent legislation is making their lives very difficult. Birch Network believes that refugees and asylum seekers can be an asset to their local communities in the UK, enriching our culture and expanding our knowledge about different countries.Your donation will help BIRCH Network to support refugees and asylum seekers at all stages in the immigration system: when they have just arrived in the UK, while they are awaiting decisions and when they are facing destitution.
