Story
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. I am walking 100 miles in October to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, an organization that provides helpful information and resources to navigate this disease, as well as supports cancer research.
Since I have been diagnosed, I have met so many women who are thrivers, survivors, or who have lost their fight to this disease. I hope for a world where this disease is eradicated and supporting breast cancer research is vital to that goal. In the meantime, organizations that provide support and education are likewise critical to supporting individuals facing this disease. Breast Cancer Now does both.
Join me so that women now--and future generations (including my little angel above)--don't have to go through this battle. I hope you can contribute and support this cause.
Finally, get your checkups and be your own advocate. Get the physical. Get the mammogram. Early detection is key to a good prognosis. As the saying goes, "early detection saves lives," and it saved mine.
