Story

In January 2021 I was given the devastating news that I had Motor Neurone disease. It has changed everything for me and my family. In September my family I will walk, run and ride to clock as many miles as we can as part of Mission 5000.

Mission 5000 challenge runs throughout September. Participants have 30 days to clock up however many miles they choose; by taking steps, cycling, scooting, swimming or clocking up wheelchair miles. The challenge is totally flexible and inclusive for everyone, including people living with MND. I will be doing my best alongside my family, including grandchildren.

With your support the MNDA can fund more vital research to help us better understand MND and ultimately one day find a cure. Until then, they can provide care and support for people affected by MND today. Together, we can make sure no one faces MND alone.

Every penny raised will bring us closer to achieving our ultimate mission; a world free from MND.
