We are Scope. We campaign to transform attitudes to disability, tackle injustice and inspire action. We create opportunities and provide information and support that empowers.

Story

Well I did it!

On 16 & 17 March, I completed the Scope White Peaks Challenge & skied 25 Peaks in 48 Hours.

We covered over 150 km of advanced grade piste in just two days....with very few breaks. My legs are very tired today but I am feeling rather proud of myself!

To put 150km of downhill piste into context, think of skiing the from the summit of Everest right down to the valley floor - TWICE! (That's why my legs hurt then!)

Scope is the charity for people who live with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is the most commonly diagnosed physical condition in the UK. It occurs around the time of birth when part of the brain fails to develop properly & can happen to any child in any family. Your sponsorship money will allow Scope to continue their vital support for people with cerebral palsy, their families and their carers.

I have pledged to raise a minimum amount of £1500 for Scope but with your help I hope to make my personal target too.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure & the most efficient way to sponsor me as Scope will receive your money faster. If you are a UK taxpayer, please Gift Aid your donation so that Scope can recover an extra 28% in tax relief at no cost to you.  All you need to do is tick the Gift Aid box.

Please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
