As most of you visiting here will know, Vince was our incredible beautiful talented and brilliant viola player who died almost a month ago. At the funeral yesterday, which was also beautiful and brilliant like him, and ended with a standing ovation, it was requested that instead of flowers, any donations be sent to CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably.

CALM, is a registered charity, which exists to prevent male suicide in the UK.   In 2013, male suicide accounts for 78% of all suicides and is the single biggest cause of death in men aged 20 – 45 in England and Wales. 

“Better support for people experiencing mental health problems would help prevent suicides and enable many people to lead full and fulfilling lives with distressing but manageable conditions. "
