My beautiful horse Jenny passed away on 29th July 2018 at 29 years old. I was very blessed to have 17 great years with her but that doesn’t make losing her any easier.
Anyone who knows me also knows how much I loved photographing Jenny. The fact that I have so many images of her has been a great comfort to me since she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Because of this I want to photograph horses of people who knew Jenny in order to give them something to cherish forever.
There are only two conditions:
1. You make a donation to Crosskennan on this page
2. You let me include an orange flower in the image somewhere in memory of Jenny (can be in the mane, on a headcollar, bridle or just in the background). The orange flower idea comes from the fact that she was a very Orange shade of chestnut and I would often referred to her as ‘The Orange One’.
I would also be grateful if you would share the images on Instagram using the hashtag #JennyslegacyforCLAS
Photos will normally take place on a Sunday. Check out my recent photography on my instagram ‘Jensphotosni’ to see my style of photography
Want to help but you didnt know Jenny or your not located locally? I would be grateful of any donations received in support of my Orange Flower project. Also to raise awareness take a photo of yourself or your pet with something Orange and post with the hastag on Instagram #JennyslegacyforCLAS
Crosskennan is a charity very close to my heart - they are one of the few people who take in and look after horses needing rescued in Northern Ireland. Let’s give them some support
