2019 Winter Run London for Cancer Research UK

London Winter Run 2019 · 3 February 2019 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to support me in raising money for Cancer Research UK.
My grandmother, Estelle Powell, fought against breast cancer and after a mastectomy, survived it and went on to live until she was 94 years old.
My dad, Donald Pearcy, sadly lost his battle with lung cancer at the young age of 54.
My dear friend Shannon Watters lost the fight to Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, at the even younger age of 37. And everyone I know has been touched in one way or another by cancer.
Cancer, we all know, is a voracious disease and completely indiscriminate - but each year more possibilities are discovered in the world of prevention, detection and treatment of cancer, which is why I am running (for the 2nd year in a row) the Cancer Research Winter Run 10K on 3rd February 2019.
Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
