My father's brave struggle came to an end 2 years after he was diagnosed with myeloid leukaemia. He was huge influence and the cornerstone in my life. I therefore would like to run these 10 miles specifically for him and anyone who suffers from blood cancer - and surely there is no better way by supporting Leukaemia Care, a national charity dedicated to supporting anyone affected by blood cancer.
This also poses a monumental challenge for me as I had a severe accident a couple of years ago leaving me with a reconstructed tibial plateau and a surgeon saying that I would be lucky if I can walk normally again...
