Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As many of you may know, Jamie was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of three, but made a full recovery and is celebrating life as an eighteen year old. A colleague of mine, Diane Watt sadly lost her daughter Maria to leukaemia at the age of seventeen. As  a way of channelling her grief  into something positive, Diane decided to raise funds in Maria's name to support other teenagers with cancer. Diane has currently raised £90,000 towards the £100,000 required to fund a room named after her daughter at the specialist Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital which is on plan to open in March next year. I'd really like to help Diane achieve this goal, and I hope you'd also like to support her fundraising efforts.
