Himalaya Trek 2022
Campaign by St Peter's Hospice (RCN 269177)
A team are trekking through the foothills of the Himalayas in an unforgettable and stunning opportunity to raise vital funds for St Peters Hospice

Story

Jacqui battled Ovarian Cancer for the best part of 3 years with the same approach that she did for the other 50 years of her life and that was to remain positive and care for others.
We laughed and joked our way through those tough times and that also included the last 2 weeks where she wads cared for by the staff at St Peter's Hospice.
During that time and for me after we couldn't have asked to be looked after any better, they laughed, joked and treated us with dignity.
As with all charities St Peter's funding has been severely impacted by the Covid pandemic and are in desperate need of funding from the public to continue to provide their services to those in need.

Any donations no matter how great or small in memory of Jacqui will make a great difference to this wonderful charity

I'm joining the team to raise funds by trekking in the Himalaya's in April next year (something that I've always wanted to do). I've set my target to £5,252 so that St Peter's get the full £3500 for their use. Only after the initial £3,500 has been raised will I use the fund raising to cover the cost of the trip.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
