I was 16 when MND finally claimed my maternal grandmother, Sheila Batten, in 1985. The summer of Live Aid and Boris Becker. 

It is sad that so many years later there is still so much progress to make in relation to this wicked disease. I am  fundraising to help fund research and treatment.
