RGT has supported people living with HIV since 1987 via London's Bloomsbury Clinic at Mortimer Market Centre one of the largest HIV clinics in the UK. From 2001 giving was extended to Nkosis Haven & Community Action in Johannesburg South Africa and to St Pauls Childrens Home in Ongata Rongai Kenya.

Story

On 15th April - this coming Sunday - I'm running the Brighton marathon, partly to feed my marathon addiction and partly to raise funds for the Robert Grace Trust.

The Robert Grace Trust provides immediate practical help and support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their carers in the UK and Africa. In London, the RGT Emergency Fund supports the Bloomsbury Clinic‘s clients with such urgent necessities as travel costs, rental assistance, grocery costs and electricity bills. In Johannesburg the RGT helps fund Nkosi’s Haven ‘s 123 children, siblings and HIV positive mothers with school books and clothing costs and in Nairobi the RGT Hardship Fund supports St. Pauls’ Children’s Home’s 53 orphans with their similar needs.

This is my fifth marathon and I will be aiming to run a personal-best time. It's a tall order as I set my current PB six years ago, and I'm a lot closer to 50 than I was then, but knowing I have your help supporting the Trust’s wonderful work will really spur me on my way.

Thank you very much in advance!
