Snowflake joins Parkinson's UK from London to Paris
Campaign by Parkinson’s UK (RCN 258197 and Scotland SC037554)
On the 28 August the Snowflake team will be setting off from London with the aim of cycling to Paris in three days, all in aid of Parkinson's UK.

Story

Anybody who knows me will be aware that I enjoy my cycling and try to ride regularly to get a bit of exercise and see some of the countryside.  No Froome-style racer, I'm a fully paid up member of the MAMIL tribe and a good ride for me generally involves pleasant company and some good coffee en route, preferably accompanied by a nice slice of cake!

To date my riding hasn’t really involved doing it with any great purpose in mind but that’s changing in August when, alongside some of my work colleagues from Snowflake, I’ll be riding from London to Paris to help raise money for Parkinson’s UK.

The costs of the challenge are fully covered by Snowflake so every penny you donate will go to this great cause and help Parkinson’s UK with their work in supporting people facing Parkinson’s and their research into finding a cure.

Thank you for your support.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
