Story
Jerry was a loyal Charlton fan for 25 years starting from when he first moved to South London. He valued the work of the club away from the pitch as highly as he enjoyed coming to matches (particularly on winning days).
Having worked for the NHS in Greenwich for part of his career, he particularly valued the supportive and preventative aspects of the
CACT Mental Health Programme.
Your donation in his memory will help to sustain this important work by
supporting CACT's early intervention in psychosis projects and in particular, the Next Steps residential project. The Next Steps residential trip to Cornwall can play an integral part in a client’s recovery, strengthening the work done on a weekly basis.
Carl Krauhaus, CACT’s Head of Early Help and Prevention, mentioned that this donation will ‘enable us to continue to offer this additional and unique opportunity to some of the people that we work with
throughout the year. I have seen first hand how this project can be a vital part of recovery”
