Story

In the wee hours of January 1st I set myself a few daunting new-year resolutions.  These included running a half marathon, raising money for charity and drinking less.

Rather than drag the challenges out, I have decided to clear them in one go, which is where I need your help!

I’ll be running a half Marathon on April 9th to raise money for charity. This takes care of NY resolutions one and two.  The third task (drinking less) seemed a bit over the top so the charity I have chosen to raise money for is ADAS (Alcohol and Drug Abstinence Service)!  My father has been very involved in setting up this charity which is based in Stockport, Cheshire .  ADAS is an excellent charity that helps people with drug or alcohol problems abstain.  There are many success stories and I’d like to help them continue with the wonderful work they do there.

Now, as if this isn’t already tough enough.....the final challenge is in the particular half marathon I’ve chosen to run. I’ll be taking part in the Reading half marathon, this is notoriously difficult / dangerous for people like myself who suffer dyslexia!!  So please give generously as it’s going to be a very challenging day!!

Many thanks to you all for your very kind support.

Jeremy
