Human Appeal provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and social hardship. It improves the quality of life of underprivileged communities through our projects that aim to provide education, health and social development. It looks after the wellbeing of orphans.

Story

Education is the route out of poverty for many children, it has the power to transform a child’s future. But right now, millions are missing out. This must change.  In association with Human Appeal I am determined to ensure that children in Pakistan get a high-quality education and the chance to write their own futures.

At present, Pakistan is in the throes of an education crisis. The demand for education is strong however the public sector has been unable to deliver, due to poor management, corruption, insecurity, natural disasters and teacher absenteeism. As a result, there is a lack of safe, accessible and affordable schools, especially for the poor. Leaving millions of children to never see the inside of a classroom.

Children in disadvantaged communities are most at risk of missing out. Many are robbed of the chance to learn because they’re a girl, or come from a poor family, or live in a rural area. And for those whose worlds have been turned upside down by conflict or environmental disaster, education offers stability and hope.

Murree and Taxila regions are one of the most marginalised areas of district Rawalpindi, where most of public sector schools have no ICT labs facilities. Keeping in view the above situation, Human Appeal in collaboration with Education department look to establish 20 well equipped ICT labs in these regions. The project would not only provide equipment for labs, but training as well. These labs would be equipped with computers and the required furniture along with teachers trained on use of the technology with involvement of students ensuring safe learning environments and improved data analysis to promote better learning outcomes.
