The Jersey Oncology Unit coordinates the care of patients with all forms of cancers. Friends of Jersey Oncology (FOJO) raises funds for the purchase of non-funded equipment and services. Funds raised will provide additional care, comfort and support for the Units patients, families and loved ones.

Story

Over the past two years I have, like most, experienced loved ones who have died as a result of cancer. I have seen how it affects people's lives, those going through treatment, those who are in remission, those that are lucky enough to survive and those that are left behind.

Day in day out we hear of people who are diagnosed with Cancer, friends, colleagues and family members. Watching them suffer as they embark on their long or sometimes short journey.

FOJO is a great local charity that supports, assists patients and family members in many ways through the tough times. Survivors say the support and care provided is invaluable and makes a difference.

The idea behind Jersey Football Aid is to bring former Jersey football players together to raise money for chosen local charities. The match will feature local veteran football legends along with some guest players with mixed abilities!!!! The plan is to build on the first event creating an annual fixture to help benefit others.

Please give a donation to show your support and we ask that you come to watch the match with your friends and family .
