Update on 21 May: as the photo (with medals) proves we all completed the half marathon, despite terrible conditions - cold, wind, hills and lots of rain!  Our times were: Jo: 2 hours 3 minutes; Ian: 1 hour 35 minutes; Mark: 1 hour 34 minutes; Alex: 2 hours 4 minutes; Chris 1 hour 33 minutes.

Thanks for visiting our Just Giving page.  We (Alex Morton, Mark Priest, Ian Macdonald, Chris Browne and Johanna Browne) will be running 2 and a half marathons (between the five of us) on 20 May and Mark is also doing the Blenheim triathlon on 9 June - with the aim of completing the events and also raising money for charity.

We all think Cancer Research is a great cause and we were all reminded of that recently with the sudden death of Deena's dad.

We are looking forward to a fun weekend in Jersey but the purpose of the weekend is the challenge that it will be for each of us to run a half marathon (only 1 of the 5 of us had run that distance before and as demonstrated by the photos we are not all in prime condition!).  So, if you are able to donate anything to encourage us in our running and/or Mark in his triathlon, it would be very much appreciated!
