The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.

Story

http://www.iobipolare.com/

My name is Isabella and I am a twenty-three-year-old girl from Italy. I suffer from bipolar disorder and have struggled with mental illness for as far back as I can remember. To this day mental health issues are still stigmatised, so I knew I had to come out of the shadows, step forward and help others. My British friends encouraged me to come out of my shell, so I have chosen to join the London2Brighton Challenge to raise funds for the Britons and awareness for the Italians. I may be a lost cause!, but I refuse to accept mental health is, too. Cheers!
