I try and do the acorns run every year and this year I've decided to set up a page to try and raise as much money for this amazing charity as possible. I run it in memory of my sister who passed away 4 years ago. She was terminally ill and although she surpassed all the doctors expectations, she passed away a few months before her 3rd birthday. Acorns was a place where we could take her when we wanted to go somewhere different (and we'd usually ended up in the pool).They provided support for me and my family during and after her life. The work they do really is amazing and I had no idea what or how much they do until we'd experienced it first hand. So please give whatever you can because it all makes a difference.
