Shelby's Haircut for Little Princess Trust · 26 March 2018

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello,

My name is Shelby, and I am 6 years old! This March I have decided I want to cut my hair to help a little girl or boy feel special again. I'm doing it for the Little Princess Trust who make amazing wigs for little children who have lost their hair due to illness such as cancer, leukaemia and alopecia.

Not only do I want to cut my hair for them to use, I also want to raise the £500 it costs to make the wig. I have grown my hair 12 inches ready to be cut off this March! I will be doing this at my school in front of all of my classmates in assembly! Scary! My lovely hairdresser Kim has volunteered to cut my hair to make sure we get the hair as nice as we can to send off!

Any donation you can give big or small will mean a lot to me, as I want to help as much as I can make a little girl or boy happy with hair again.

Thank you very much!

Shelby :)
