Story
On the 21st of November 2020 I will be walking from Wrexham town centre to Llangollen to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
This charity means so much to myself and my family as late last year my Grandad was diagnosed with MND. My Grandad has always been physically fit and an excellent football player in his youth, he has always made his health a priority and taken care of himself.
He is the most incredible man, those that know him will agree that he is the most gentlest of people with the kindest of personalities. He is unquestionably the most important man in my life and I want to take every possible opportunity to show him how important he is to me and just how loved and supported he is. He is and always will be my hero.
Since my grandad has been diagnosed with MND I have seen first hand the heartbreaking and debilitating affects it can have. It is fast and simply point blank horrendous. There is no cure for this horrible disease, therefore it is vital more research is done to help find one! I had never heard of MND this time last year and now it has completely changed our family’s life as it has for many other family’s in the UK.
Anyone who wishes to join me is welcome, all donations will be going to The Motor Neurone Association Charity.
Nobody deserves this devastating illness 💙.
