Our charity supports those with Cystic Fibrosis, their families and specialist CF centres. We exist to; provide hardship and welfare grants, emotional support, essential medical and physio equipment, and fund the training of CF nurses to provide a better quality of life for those with CF.

Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

We've joined together to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Care. It was established in June 2015 and is a charity formed and run by professional fundraisers who are parents of children who have Cystic Fibrosis. The charity provides essential services and equipment, practical help and support to children and adults, their families and Specialist Care Centres.

As you all know I have recently raised money for my local hospital in Leeds (Ward J6 St James Hospital) and decided that I wanted to help other CF patients across the UK. This charity does amazing work and I have seen first hand where the money goes.

We will be embarking on a 150 mile bike ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth over 3 days. As all of us in the team are not experienced cyclists... this is going to be a big challenge. Whilst I am currently addicted to oxygen when exercising I will be doing it on an electric bike (otherwise we may never finish) but the rest of the team will be doing it under their own steam.

Any donations would be gratefully appreciated, and steel our resolve when we are halfway up Hartside pass (probably in the rain) and wondering why we volunteered to do this.
