On the 10th June, I'll be taking part in the Great North Swim (there's no chance I could do the run!), raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It's a 5k swim (200 lengths of a pool) in Lake Windermere.

Macmillan do unbelievable work everyday, supporting those with cancer through the toughest of times. They fully rely on donations to keep them going and that's why I have decided to take on this challenge.

Last year, someone very close to me was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and it has been a really difficult journey. However, the continued support from Macmillan staff has been fantastic and helped to make it slightly more bearable.

Any donations, big or small will make a massive difference
