Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running the Disney World Marathon in January 2016. Yes, the full marathon. We weren't sure whether that was feasible given our lack of running experience but inspite of an injury, a flu break and being busy at work, we are getting on with the training. It may not be pretty but we will do it!

As you all know, we're not really runners so this is a huge challenge and we really appreciate your support. Here we will keep you posted with training, practice runs and the final event and you can also read Jess' blog at

Why Panthera? Well, they are the the leaders in wild cat conservation and their work is impressive. We like the fact that all donations go towards Panthera's work not the running of the charity. We also like the focus on working with communities, on education and on encouraging better understanding of the cats, their habitats and their needs. In short - Panthera speaks to the scientist in us. Panthera do loads of amazing work - please help if you can, either by donating here or by going directly to the website:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
