Welcome to my fundraising page for CoppaFeel! 

For those of you that don’t know, I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in March 2021, when my little boy was only ten months old. I started chemotherapy imminently followed by a mastectomy in August 2021 and have some further surgeries to come, along with a whole load of side effects to manage from hormone treatment to hopefully keep the cancer away.

This challenge is going to push me to my limits and I am petrified but also ridiculously excited. I’ve never been a ‘fit’ person as such and any fit I had in me has disappeared in the last 2 years, but this couldn’t have come at a better time in my life, whilst I’m starting on my recovery after treatment, both physically and mentally. I feel so passionate about raising awareness of breast cancer and to be able to do this alongside all these other amazing humans is pretty fucking special 💫

So in June I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! I will be taking on 100km of Pembrokeshire's rugged, unforgiving coastline in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.Your donations will not only support my fundraising target, but most importantly CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
