Splash for Cash – Residents and staff of Belong Crewe
Village will be taking part in a sponsored swim at Crewe Life Style Centre on
Friday 28^th July at 12 noon. Our target is to raise £3,000 towards
continued activities to enhance the lives and experiences for our customers

Several of our customers supported by staff members and family have been
attending fortnightly swimming at the  Aqua Relax sessions held at Crewe
Life Style Centre. Some of our customers are unable to swim independently, but
are able to move around with floats or the support of staff members. Either
way, all are enjoying the sessions so much that we all thought it would be a
nice way to raise some money towards comforts and activities, this will enable
us to continue to offer a diverse range of experiences to our customer’s. We
plan to collectively count up how many widths we can achieve in one hour, you
are welcome to join us on the day to offer support and encouragement.- Cheer
leaders welcome!

Some things the money will be used for are:

Sensory items, memory boxes, hand massage creams,
aromatherapy oils and diffusers for relaxation and supporting customers who are
living with a dementia.

More activity items, games and musical instruments. To subsidise transport costs for trips out which can be expensive when using Tail lift transport, Treats for special occasions, More portable music players and items to engage and improve
the experience for those who are unable to get out of bed. To enhance the quality and number of events/activities within and outside the Community.
