Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

3 years ago in 2009, my dad was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, he was paralysed down one side of his body and was in Hospital for a number of weeks. Seeing my always smiley dad half paralysed was really hard on the whole family but luckily thanks to the Guillain-Barré Syndrome Support Group and his determination he made a full recovery. By completing this Bike Ride I hope to raise money for this charity so they can continue to help GBS sufferers make full recoveries and support the families during the difficult times.

My aim is to cycle from London to Paris in 3 days leaving King's Cross at 9am on Sunday morning, catching the ferry that evening and cycling for 2 days to reach Paris!

I'm doing this with a friend and we're not doing it through an organisation which means any money raised goes straight to the charities chosen by us, which in my case is GBS Support Group.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving you won't receive any unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate now.
