Para 10s race for The Robin Cancer Trust

Para 10’s · 30 September 2023
As a lot of you are aware, September last year my little sister was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer at the age of 23. She has had to have 2 major surgeries, 6 sessions of chemo and is awaiting 1 final surgery. However she was given the all clear in May! 🥳
So myself and some work colleagues we have decided to raise money for a charity that Emma has chosen- The Robin Cancer Trust.
As Emma is an Army cadet instructor, we decided it would be fitting to do the PARAS' 10. This is a 10 mile race, hosted by the Parachute Regiment and is run over the same course as the Parachute Regiment's 10 mile selection march on the ranges at the Infantry Training Centre at Catterick in North Yorkshire. Some of us will be running the race in boots, carrying 35lb bag and some of us will be opting for the unweighted 10 mile run option.
We know this is a hard time to be giving to charity but absolutely every penny counts and we will be forever grateful for any donations
