Simplyhealth Great North Run 2019 · 8 September 2019 ·
I’ve entered the Great North Run for the first time ever this year. Every year I see people competing for the most amazing charities and it looks SO rewarding.
This year I am running for a charity called ‘Metro Radio Cash for Kids’ through my workplace Northern Gas and Power. Metro Radio Cash for Kids is a charity that offers a helping hand to those who need it most, making a difference to young people across the north east.
They look to support children from birth up to and including 18 years old who are vulnerable, have mental, physical or sensory disabilities, behavioural or psychological disorders, come from disadvantaged backgrounds, situations of deprivation, suffering distress or are living with an illness or disability.
I want to do all I can to raise the profile of Cash for Kids even more. It is a collective mission to respond to the needs of children in our communities and give the most disadvantaged a better and brighter future.
I can’t wait to cross the finish line (even if I’m crawling) and feel like I’ve made a difference. All donations are fully appreciated and no donation is too small - thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
