London to Brighton 100km Challenge 2014 · 24 May 2014 ·

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a charity set up in 1990 by people sick of seeing the ocean they love polluted. We campaign to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. We're calling for an end to sewage and plastic pollution.

Story

I'm taking part in the London to Brighton challenge in May - walking 100 kilometers from London to Brighton in support of a good cause. I'll be walking with a friend and aiming to complete it in under 25 hours.

I’m supporting Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) who are an environmental charity protecting the UK’s oceans, waves and beaches for all to enjoy safely and sustainably, via community action, campaigning, volunteering, conservation, education and scientific research. I started learning to surf last year and had a great time, so this is a cause I'm really proud to be supporting.
