I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer in January of 2021. I had three surgeries, including a radical hysterectomy, within one month of my diagnosis. After surgery I was able to get into a clinical trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York and completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy, ultimately entering remission in June 2021. I had no symptoms. I knew very little about this type of cancer. I wish I had known more! I'm raising money to help fund more research about this disease. It is one of the most under-funded and under-researched cancers out there.
