Hi
I am taking part in a sky dive on september 14th as i have a son who is 18 months old, he has been under the care of childrens since he was 2 weeks old. He was firstly born with a groove ontop of his airway, which is called a laryngeal cleft which is a rare diformality of the airway which happens in 1 in 15000 children. It caused parker to have repeat chest infections and cynoasis episodes. Parker went under GA to discover this and he then went onto havig the operation to repair. After the operation parker still couldnt swallow properly so he became tube fed for his liquid, we work ENT and SLT. Since then Parker has had other issues arise, he is currently waiting for a stomach operation called a fundoplication to stop his reflux so he can no longer aspirate that this care is through gastro and surgical team. The care as a family we have recieved is phenomenal that shines all the way through the hospital. They are doing the best they can to help my sons health, I would like to raise as much money as i can to give back to the charity. Recently we had an appointment in the new rare diseases part of the hospital in waterfall house and its an amazing waiting room so much for the children to do whilst waiting, this can really make a difference. They need charity work to be able to provide things like this.
Please take part and sponsor me, it will not go un noticed i will really appreciate it.
Thank you
