Having been supported by Beat and other charities during my suffering from both Anorexia and Bulimia, I am finally well enough to participate in a fundraising event to be able to help others.

If I achieve one thing in life it will be to help anyone/everyone who suffers with any form of mental illness make their journey to recovery. No amount of words can describe the pain caused by eating disorders and the pure happiness to be found in recovery. I want to spread this happiness amongst everyone I possibly can.

Beat have helped me find my voice, share my experiences and encourage others to seek help. I am immensely proud to be a Beat Young Ambassador and I am thrilled to be participating in this so I can give something back to the people who helped give me my life back.

Fortunately I don't need the help of Beat anymore, however many many people do. I'm asking for you to give whatever you can to help those who unfortunately suffer with these debilitating and life-changing evil illnesses. 

As a team we are aiming to raise £2200. This would fund the Beat helpline for 2 days, helping over 120 people. One phone call could change everything for someone, it did for me.
