Wimbledon Common Half Marathon · 11 October 2020
Hello!
On Sunday 11th October I will be running a half marathon to raise money and awareness for The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). This charity and its movement is close to my heart, and I believe more important during the Covid-19 pandemic than ever. Research suggests that the 2008 financial crisis led to 10,000 more suicides and now we are heading towards another economic disaster. Over the next 12-18 months (and longer) support for mental health will be particularly essential and I want to try and help in some way.
Having ran less than 10km in the last decade and an avid hater of cardio this is going to be a challenge but I'm ready to start training and any support will be greatly appreciated!!!

Covid-19
If the half marathon cannot go ahead in October due to Covid-19 I will be running virtually (as many of the RunThrough events are already doing). This will mean running the same distance but my own route. I will track my run on Strava.
