Help us raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital. New Jersey's first designated Regional Perinatal Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital is a 54 bassinet, Level III unit that cares for more than 800 newborns annually. Preemies length of stay range from 1 to over 200 days, but no matter the number of days in the unit, the impact is lasting. The NICU provides the most comprehensive neonatal care in the state for newborns and infants and are continually recognized for the expert patient care provided. Saint Peters NICU is the only New Jersey based hospital to be recognized among the top 50 in the nation in neonatology for the second year in a row by U.S. News & World Report and received its third consecutive Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
